Alumni play a vital role in the life of Courant Institute and the Computer Science Department. We encourage all our alumni to remain active in our community. We invite all our MS alumni to our start-of-the-year parties, and encourage interaction between alumni and students. Sometimes our alumni recruit summer interns or suggest projects for the Information Technology Projects (ITP) class.

Please explore Courant's alumni website to keep up to date about alumni services, upcoming events, giving, and the ways to be involved.

If you would like to be added to our alumni email mailing list, please write to We will keep you informed of upcoming events.

Our new club, MACS (Masters in Computers Science) also organizes events of interest to alumni, and sometimes looks for alumni volunteers to speak at events. Let us know if you are interested in participating in a panel discussion, or have ideas for other kinds of events.

We have started a new way to keep in touch with our alumni. We now have a departmental newsletter, focusing on the MS programs. For the Fall 2009 newletter, see Fall 2009 Newsletter.
