Happy Thanksgiving!
- 11/16: Lab 6 released; due 12/07/09
We recommend starting this one extra-early. Please note two things: (1) You have a choice of whether to do the network driver or a project; if you choose the project, please send to the course staff a project proposal by the deadline listed in the lab. (2) The grading regimes are different depending on whether you pick the network driver or a project.

- 9/11: Change to Mike's office hours on 9/18

- 9/9: Schedule change
Please note that the schedule of readings has changed. Next Monday, we will discuss virtual machines and the VMWare paper. Next Wednesday, we will discuss Xen. The listed schedule reflects these changes.
- 9/2: Final project is optional
Some of you wanted a final project and some did not. As a result, we decided to make the final project optional. Thus, you should choose to do the final project OR the last lab (which will be to build networking functions under JOS). If you select the final project, you'll be graded under the 40-40-20 regime. If you do not select the final project, you'll be graded under the 50-50 regime. If you choose to do both, you will receive extra credit.
- 9/2: Friday makeups will be 3:00-4:30 PM, as noted on the schedule
- 9/2: No class Monday (Labor Day). Wednesday's class.....
...will discuss the Appel and Li paper and the VMWare papers
