Thanks to Brian White, I was able to contact Underwood Dudley directly. 
Unfortunately, Dudley was unable to provide much more information, since 
he said that he had thrown away his notes on the subject and could not 
remember the name of H.N.  He also said that he was unaware of any 
publications by H.N. and that he later learned that H.N. had passed away 
from brain cancer.  The one piece of information that Dudley was able to 
recall was that H.N. was at Wayne State.
