H.N. is not William Dilworth.  There is a separate chapter in Dudley's 
book about Dilworth, and Dudley identifies Dilworth by name in the 
endnotes.  But Dudley does not identify H.N. in the endnotes.

I am happy to contact Underwood Dudley directly if someone can tell me 
how.  I was unable to find contact information for him after a casual web 
search.
