[FOM] Firestone

[Thomas Forster]

Can any of the old-timers on this liost tell me what happened to C.D. 
Firestone, a student of Rosser's  (Ph.D. Cornell 1947)?   I think i know
how to get hold of his thesis but i would be interested in any gossip.

I tried googling him, to no avail.  Lots of info about tyres of course, 
but i don't drive so it was of no use to me!
