[FOM] Sad news: Vladimir A. Uspensky

Dear FOMers,

I am very saddened to report that Vladimir A. Uspensky passed away on June
27th, 2018, after an extended illness. Uspensky played a vital role in
logic and linguistics communities in Russia. From 1995 until now, he was
the head of the department of mathematical logic and theory of algorithms
at Moscow State University.
