"Platonism" appears indeed to have several different meanings for different
people.
A classical and influential discussion of different senses of "platonism",
and a good starting point for discussion, is Paul Bernays' "Platonism in
Mathematics" (1935); it is reprinted in Benacerraf's and Putnam's anthology
(Phil. of Math.), and can be found online in the webpage of "The Bernays
Project" (strongly recommended anyway):
http://www.phil.cmu.edu/projects/bernays/
A good more recent account is
Penelope Maddy's 'The roots of contemporary Platonism', Journal of Symbolic
Logic 54 (1989), pp. 1121-1144.
