My lecture notes are stored chapter by chapter, starting with l1.pdf, l2.pdf, etc.

When I update these pdf's, hopefully not too often, I will keep the original version
as l1-orig.pdf, l2-orig.pdf, etc.

I will also post a list of typos, found in the file "TYPOS" in this directory.

These notes are provided freely, but if you use these notes,
I assume that you have agreed to this pledge:

(1) THAT YOU WILL NOT PRINT UNNECESSARY COPIES OF THESE LECTURE NOTES.  
(2) THAT YOU WILL INFORM ME OF ERRORS THAT YOU FIND.  LIKEWISE,
	I WILL RESPOND TO YOUR ERROR REPORTS.

Clearly (1) is a tree-saving, minimal carbon-footprint pledge.
Usually, you need to print only a few pages of
the lecture notes if I have an updated version.
