Due: Monday October 22, in class
PLEASE NOTE:
the solution will be publised immediately after due date,
in preparation for the midterm.
GENERAL REMARK: Consider the postscript and pdf versions
of the questions to be official.
The main reason for this is because browsers have problems
displaying html files that have math symbols.
Your browser needs to be enabled to have "symbol" fonts, etc.
But I found that Internet Explorer handles symbols than Netscape
(too bad, as I prefer to avoid IE when possible).
If you are interested,
my source file is in Latex,
and it is converted to HTML by a program called TTH.
I would be happy to hear from any one with better suggestions.
