About Me

I started my PhD in September 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kai Hormann at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Lugano (USI) which I finished in August 2017 with the thesis "Theory and Applications of Bijective Barycentric Mappings".

In June 2017 I won an SNF (SNF) Early post-doc mobility fellowship titled "Barycentric polyhedral finite elements" to continue my career at New York University (NYU) with Prof. Dr. Daniele Panozzo

My current scientific interests are computer graphics, geometry processing, barycentric coordinates, differential geometry and scientific simulation.
