I'm currently the Lead Deep Learning Scientist at Butterfly Network where I work on automated interpretation and guidance for medical ultrasound. My machine learning interests include semantic segmentation, detection and reinforcement learning and how to best apply these areas to high-impact areas in the medical world.
Previously, I worked at Google where, among various projects, I co-wrote TensorFlow-Slim, now a major component of the TensorFlow library.
I completed my PhD in 2015 and was advised by Rob Fergus and David Sontag.
