For Oct 17 I would like you to make an animated scene that incorporates a motion hierarchy, somewhat in the spirit of the simple example I showed in class. For now you still need only use draw lines to render your scene; we will soon learn how to make fully shaded images.
You should also incorporate perspective, which are described in the class notes, as well as a camera that animates in an interesting way, also described in the class notes.
If you are feeling ambitious, then you can incorporate what you will be learning about Splines in this coming Tuesday's guest lecture by professor Denis Zorin. Splines are really great for moving and aiming cameras.
