Background
Joshua Clayton is a New York-based artist and academic. His research-oriented creative practice explores forms of knowing and ways of sensing through time-based, networked, and printed media. Originally from the Midwest, Clayton studied art and design before relocating to East Asia, and NYC thereafter. He completed an advanced degree in communications technology and has been teaching at NYU for over a decade. Professor Clayton’s courses engage a wide spectrum of undergraduate students with the language of computation and the expressive potential of code.
