Integer Arrays
When using an array to store a look up table of numbers, we need a way to refer to the individual variables in the array. The individual variables are called the elements of the array, and C uses a bracket notation to pick out the elements we are interested in.
Often, we talk about the “index” of the element, meaning which one it is in the sequence of the elements. An important fact to remember about arrays in C is that the index “always starts counting from zero”.
