How to Use the CVS Repository through a Class Account

A. OVERVIEW

We assume that you are a student in one of our classes, and doing projects that require access to a CVS facility.

Please read our notes on the basic mechanics of using CVS repository in How to use CVS for collaboration.
Initially, just read the part where you need to generate a public-private key pair, and send the public part to us.

The main difference between being a collaborator versus using CVS for class projects is this:

• You will be using a user account called "yapclass" (instead of "e-friend" account which is for collaborators).
