I'm fond of fiction, yet averse
To any kind of Metaverse.
I'd rather be in jail or, worse,
Inside a coffin in a hearse
Than set foot in the Metaverse
I will not role play or converse
With anyone who makes the cherce*
Deluded, decadent, perverse
To leave the real world and immerse
Themselves inside the Metaverse.
I'm running out of rhymes. My verse
Will have to be compact and terse.
So fierce resentment I will nurse
And cast my most wholehearted curse
In language varied and diverse
In English, Gaelic, Welsh, or Erse
On those who build the Metaverse.
* See Pat and Mike.
