SECENTIS: 5 positions for Early Stage Researchers

The Security and Trust Research Unit of the Bruno Kessler Foundation,
Trento, Italy, in partnership with SAP Next Business & Technology in
Sophia-Antipolis, the University of Trento, and TrentoRISE, is seeking

                      5 Early Stage Researchers (ESRs)

to develop individual research training projects and address the
research challenges identified in the

                   European Industrial Doctorate on
Security and Trust of Next Generation Enterprise Information Systems
                           SECENTIS

SECENTIS is a Marie-Curie action - "Initial Training Networks" funded
by the European Commission in the context of the FP7.

By providing hands-on experience on a software infrastructure of
industrial complexity, SECENTIS will provide ESRs with unparalleled
research training opportunities. Each ESR will conduct internationally
leading research in computer security and contribute to the
development of solutions that will improve the security of the next
generation of Enterprise Information Systems and Process Management
solutions.

The research activity will span over a period of 3 years, half to be
spent in Trento (Italy) and half in Sophia Antipolis (France). Each ESR
will be jointly supervised by a researcher in Trento (FBK or UniTN)
and one in Sophia Antipolis (SAP).

Candidates must enroll in the Ph.D. program of the ICT International
Doctoral School of the University of Trento.
The deadline of the application for admission in the ICT Doctoral
School is April 1st, 2013. (More info on the procedure will soon be
available at the http://ict.unitn.it/application)

The salary will be around 34,000 Euro (pre-tax) per year.
The beginning of the contract is expected in September 2013.

Candidate requirements
-----------------------

The candidate must hold a Master (or equivalent) degree in the area of
Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

Applications are also accepted from students who expect to complete
their degree by the 31 st of October 2012.

The candidate should have a high level of analytical capability and
mathematical skills, be able to work in a collaborative environment,
with a strong commitment to reaching research excellence and achieving
assigned objectives, and be fluent in English.

At the time of recruitment, the candidate must not have resided or
carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc) in Italy for
more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to his/her recruitment under
the SECENTIS Project.
