Dear SMT community,
Thank you to those of you who participated in the survey. The results were
overwhelmingly in favor of having SMT at CAV next year. With this in mind, we
submitted a proposal to CAV and it was accepted. SMT Workshop will be held as
a two-day tutorial at Princeton, NJ, USA, preceeding CAV (July 7-8). SMT-COMP
will also run during CAV as in years past. More information about both of
these events will be available as they draw closer.
For those of you who are interested in the results of the survey, they are
summarized below. We will take these preferences into account as much as
possible and will encourage a broader discussion during SMT 2008.

i.e. the 24 who prefer CAV are split among 16 who prefer 2 days, 5 who prefer 1
day, and 3 with no preference.
