Dear FOM members,
On October 23, 2019, Google has claimed quantum supremacy [1].
Nevertheless, such a claim depends upon some unproved mathematical
assumptions and there is some skepticism [2]. These mathematical
assumptions are explained in the lectures [3, 4]. Hence, I would like to
ask the FOM members their opinion concerning these mathematical assumptions
from the point of view of the foundations of mathematics.
Sincerely yours,
Jose M.
