The SLALM (Latin American Symposium on Mathematical Logic) started at the end of the 1960's,
impulsed by Abraham Robinson, who was then President of the Association for Symbolic Logic (ASL).

It gathers the community of researchers in Logic from all Latin America and counts with the participation
of leading researchers from all over the world. It exists thanks to the support of the ASL and of the local
institutions organizing the event. It has been organized in various places of Latin America (Chile 1970,
Brazil 1976, Chile 1978, Colombia 1981, Venezuela 1983, Brazil 1985, Brazil 1989, Argentina 1992,
Colombia 1995, Venezuela 1998, Costa Rica 2004, Mexico 2006, Brazil 2008, Colombia 2012, Argentina
2014, Mexico 2017).

Rules for abstract submission:
Please submit your abstract to slalmxvii at udec.cl following the ASL rules for abstracts (see http://aslonline.org/meetings/rules-for-abstracts/), before June 16th, with the word “abstract” in the subject, mentioning in the body of the email your name, affiliation, and the corresponding session. See http://slalmxviii.udec.cl/en/organization for the session list. The contributed talks will be 30 minutes long, including questions.
 
Rules for posters:
The size of the posters should be A0 (118,9 cm. long and 84,1 cm. large). Each participant should send his/her poster in pdf format to slalmxvii at udec.cl no later than September 1st, with the word “poster” in the subject, mentioning in the body of the email your name, affiliation, and the corresponding session. See http://slalmxviii.udec.cl/en/organization for the session list. The presentation of a poster will be taken into account at the time of distribution of the scholarships.
