Stockholm University announces a tenure track position as

Assistant professor in Mathematical Logic

Closing date: 11 April 2016

 From the announcement

"The Department of Mathematics at Stockholm University with its 
excellent research record and long lasting traditions has acquired a 
very special place in Scandinavian mathematics. The department consists 
of two divisions: mathematics and mathematical statistics. Professors 
and lecturers working at the division of mathematics possess competence 
in different areas of mathematics, in particular there are research 
groups in algebra, geometry and combinatorics, analysis and logic. 
During the last decade the division has almost doubled the number of 
students. We carry out an active policy to develop and modernise the 
educational process and both our Bachelor and Master programs got the 
highest ranking in the latest university evaluation."

"Assessment criteria

In the appointment process, special attention will be given to research 
skills. Teaching skills will also be considered. The assessment of 
research skills will focus primarily on merits within the subject area 
of the position.

The following will also be considered:
  - that research interests of the successful candidate are close to the 
research interests of the research group (see below).

Additional information

The research group in mathematical logic is at present focused on the 
areas of proof theory, constructivity and categorical logic."
