The Department of Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks a Lecturer for the 2015/2016 academic year, with a target start date of August 16, 2015. AOS: Philosophy of Math and/or Logic. 6 courses/year (3/semester). Anticipated courses include two mixed graduate and undergraduate courses in the philosophy of math and/or logic; Symbolic Logic (PHIL 202); and multiple sections of Logic and Reasoning (PHIL 102). Required: Ph.D. prior to start date and evidence of teaching experience. Experience with large lectures preferred. This is a full time, 9 month appointment. Salary is commensurate with experience. Renewal of position is possible based on department need, funding availability and strong performance review.
