Assistant Professor in Logic or Analysis 

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Connecticut invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position, starting in Fall 2013, at the Storrs campus. The fields of the search are logic and analysis. Highly qualified candidates in any mathematical discipline may also be considered. 

Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. or an equivalent foreign degree in mathematics or a closely related area by August 22, 2013, demonstrated evidence of excellent teaching and outstanding research. 

Preferred Qualifications: Research excellence in a priority area of the search with the potential to attract external funding, and the ability to contribute through research, teaching and/or public engagement to the diversity and excellence of the learning experience at UConn. 

The review of applications will begin on December 1, 2012 and continue until the position is filled.
