[FOM] Type/occurrence/token again

I was very intrigued by the exchanges on FOM on this subject a year or
so ago.  I am about to give a second-level Logic course to Philosophy 
students here in the Land of Nuclear-Free Hobbits and I felt that a
tidied-up transcript of this conversation might be something they could 
usefully be given to read.  There is a nice \LaTeX-ed version of it on
