[FOM] An alternative to the real numbers as a basis for physics

The paper by Dragovich seems silly to me as a physicist. He says
that physical measurements are actually rational numbers rather
than reals. Actually it's worse than that: physical measurements
are ranges of error with fuzzy edges. And he proposes that we let
8piG/c^4 be rational. That's a completely meaningless statament. Such
a coupling constant can have any numerical value you like, depending
on what system of units you use. In the natural units most commonly
used for general relativity, c=1 and G=1 by definition, so he's
proposing to let 8pi be rational.
