[FOM] correction to "contra harvey on what number theorists want"

   In "contra harvey on what number theorists want" (Apr 2), I wrote:

>   Several decades ago, together with Birch and Coates, I supervised

   In fact, it was Swinnerton-Dyer, not Birch.  But, in spite of
this relationship, I didn't know him.  I knew John Coates then, but I
recall meeting Swinnerton-Dyer only once, at a graduation dinner for
my student.
