This post arises as a direct result of a Royal Society Industry
Fellowship awarded to Professor David Pym.

The Department is multi-disciplinary and has internationally renowned
research. Three main research areas are: Human Computer Interaction,
Mathematical Logic and Symbolic Computation, and Media Technology.
Additional research interests lie in the broad area of agents and
artificial intelligence.

The person appointed will be required to contribute to undergraduate and
postgraduate teaching in the areas of logic and theoretical computer
science. Applicants should normally hold a suitable PhD or have
equivalent research experience and show evidence of the ability to
publish in international journals or conferences and to obtain research
funding.

Salary in the range =A327,989 to =A335,883 (Lecturer Grade B)
