FOM: Rule 110, etc.

Begging everyone's indulgence, I wish to ask an even dumber question:
Suppose Wolfram *is* correct (modulo various precise amendations involving
input-output considerations, etc.) about his classification of CAs and Turing
computability, how significant would this be (esp. regarding Rule 110)? I
realize this question is radically imprecise, but could someone please give it
a shot?

    Thank you,

Charlie Silver
