FOM: Poincare and Mathematical Creation

I recommend Proofs and Refutations, by Imre Lakatos.  It's certainly one
of the more entertaining texts on the topic of mathematical discovery, and
has some interesting comments on Poincare (e.g. did he remove all of the
content of Euler's theorem by casting it simplicially?).  --Matt
