P. S. I see I didn't answer one of Harvey's questions. Did Macpherson
think that nothing of significance etc. in the foundations of
mathematics had been done after Goedel?
Of course, it's hard to know what he thought or thinks. My guess is,
that we have here stereotypical thinking--you hold a dogma, recognize
the counterexamples when pointed out, yet do not relinquish the dogma.
