THE SIXTH BARCELONA LOGIC MEETING

July 6, 7 and 8, 2000
=====================
The sixth Barcelona Logic Meeting will be held from Thursday, July 6th to
Saturday, July 8th, 2000 in Barcelona. The meeting will be devoted to all areas
of Mathematical Logic, with an emphasis in Algebraic Logic, Model Theory and Set
Theory. The scientific program will consist of several one-hour invited lectures
and a number of twenty-minute contributed talks.
The 6th BLM has been recognized as a satellite conference of the
3rd European Congress of Mathematics, to be held in Barcelona,
July 10-14, 2000 under the auspices of the European Mathematical Society.

SUBMISSION OF CONTRIBUTED PAPERS
Those wishing to attend the meeting and present short communications
are invited to submit a one-page abstract to the Scientific Committee by sending
a LaTeX file to the e-mail address <crm at crm.es>. Authors without access to
e-mail can send two printed copies to the
following address:

The deadline for submission of contributed papers is April 1st, 2000.
Acceptance will be communicated to authors as soon as possible.
REGISTRATION
The registration fee will be 65 Euros (approx. 11000 ptas). There will be a
reduced fee for students and accompanying persons. Depending on the funds
available some fellowships for students might be offered.
