We introduce our novel group formed to confront some of the issues raised by the COVID-19 pandemic. Information about the group, which we named “cure Covid forever and for all” (RxCOVEA), its dynamic membership (changing regularly), and some of its activities ̶ described in more technical detail for expert perusal and commentary are available upon request. The group is quite informal, rapidly evolving, easy to join and to leave. It now gathers close to 100 members from 15 countries [*] representing a broad swath of disciplines relevant to the present crisis including, but not limited to, epidemiological modeling, artificial intelligence, immunology, drug development, diagnostic screening and testing, economics, and data management. We are all volunteers, and our objectives are neither fame nor fortune; we simply hope to be helpful.

Basic Qualifications
· 3+ years of professional front end development around the user experience.
· Experience with responsive web design.
· Experience in developing rich applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
· Experience developing web services using any of the following: Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, Go, .NET or Scala
· Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, Vue.js, Thymeleaf, etc.) and test frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, etc)
· Experience with view layout and rendering technologies (e.g., responsiveness, progressive enhancement, browser/device support).
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications
· Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
· Knows when (and when not) to use front-end software design patterns (e.g., asynchronicity, data binding, modules, MVC, objects, promises) · Experience with AWS and/or cloud computing
· Agile software development experience
· Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
