Chicago, Illinois, Man Sentenced for Cocaine Distribution Conspiracy
DEC 14  - (EAST ST. LOUIS, IL) - Stephen R. Wigginton, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced today that 
JOHN WYSINGER  , age 43, of Chicago, Illinois, was sentenced to 240 months in federal prison for his participation in a cocaine distribution ring. In addition 
WYSINGER  was sentenced to a term of 10 years of supervised release, a fine of $1,250, and a special assessment of $200.
WYSINGER  was found guilty on July 22, 2010, of one count of Conspiracy to Distribute and 
Possess with Intent to Distribute Cocaine and one count of Aiding and Abetting the Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine after a four-day jury trial in United States District Court in East St. Louis. 
WYSINGER  is one of six defendants convicted in the scheme.
The investigation which resulted in 
WYSINGER'S  conviction was conducted under the auspices of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. The Drug Enforcement Administration led the investigation. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrew Simonson.
