(Eugene)
- DEA Acting Special Agent in Charge Mark Thomas and the Acting United States Attorney for the District of Oregon, Kent S. Robinison, announced that on December 2, 2009, Fernando Aguirre-Castro was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Following his release from prison Aguirre-Castro will be on supervised release for a period of five years.
On August 29, 2008, DEA Task Force Agents and Officers received information regarding an impending methamphetamine transaction at a parking lot in Springfield, Oregon.
