Albuquerque Man Pleads Guilty to Marijuana Offense
MAY 06  - (EAST ST. LOUIS, IL) - A. Courtney Cox, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced that 
KENNETH CONNALLY,  age 53, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, pled guilty on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in United States District Court in East St. Louis, Illinois, to an indictment charging him with conspiracy to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.
CONNALLY  is currently scheduled to be sentenced at 3:30 p.m. on August 13, 2010. 
CONNALLY  faces a statutory minimum sentence of 5 years imprisonment, and a potential maximum 
sentence of 40 years imprisonment, a fine up to $2 million and a term of supervised release of at least 
4 years.
The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration under the auspices
 of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF). The OCDETF initiative is designed 
to provide a coordinated effort of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to identify, 
dismantle, and prosecute national and international drug trafficking organizations. The case was 
prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel T. Kapsak .
