Psychographics

In the US, where folks are free,
Some guy is starting a campaign.
Avoiding all the mental strain
Of actually thinking through
What the government should do,
He hires a psychographicist
Who puts together a long list
With every personality
Of every voter, so that he
Can place ads that are tailored to
The quirks of each specific brain,
And boost his popularity.

So everyone is pleased, but we
Have lost our great democracy.
