Washington Park Illinois Man Receives 5 Year Sentence in
Crack Cocaine Case
JUN 30  -- (EAST ST. LOUIS, IL) - A. Courtney Cox, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced that on June 26, 2009, 
Brian HOLLEY  , age 46, of Washington Park, Illinois, was sentenced in United States District Court in East St. Louis to 60 months in prison for Possession with Intent to Distribute 5 Grams or More of Cocaine Base. 
HOLLEY  was also ordered to serve a term of 5 years supervised release, and to pay a $375 fine, and a $100 special assessment.
According to evidence introduced at 
HOLLEY'S  change-of-plea hearing on March 19, 2009, 
police arrested 
HOLLEY  at a Fairview Heights, Illinois motel on November 25, 2007, and seized approximately 15 grams of cocaine base from him.
The investigation which resulted in 
HOLLEY'S  conviction was conducted by the Drug 
Enforcement Administration and the Fairview Heights Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert L. Garrison.
