Methamphetamine Safety & Awareness Program for First Responders in Mercer County

NOV 20  --(NEWARK) - Gerard P. McAleer, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) New Jersey Division in cooperation with U.S. Congressman Christopher H. Smith (4th District, New Jersey) conducted a one-day seminar on methamphetamine safety and awareness for first responders on Monday, November 19, 2007 at the New Jersey State Police Hamilton Technology Center located in Hamilton, New Jersey.
SAC McAleer stated, "DEA New Jersey Division is committed to fighting the spread of this toxic and most dangerous drug methamphetamine and its by products that could harm our children, environment, and our partners in law enforcement throughout New Jersey. It's our responsibility to educate and provide the best training for our first responders so that they don't become victims themselves."
