The Story

Throughout the 1940s and 1950s NYU remained a strong team thanks to the leadership of Esther Foley, the NYU Head Coach for 42 years and an NYU alum.

The 1960s were much less documented than the years prior, but it seems as though the women's swim team continued to thrive. According to the article below, NYU was the Metropolitan Champions in 1965.
