Course summary The class will focus on the application of computational techniques in analyzing biological data (DNA and protein sequences, gene expression data). We will also provide all the biology background needed for understanding the issues that will be discussed.
Prerequisites
  • fundamental algorithms
  • knowledge of a programming language
  • elementary statistics
Assessment There will be a number of homeworks and a term project or a final take-home exam (depending on the class attendance).
