Assignment 4 - Animated GIFs in Photoshop
- In this assignment, you are to create an animated picture of
yourself using Photoshop.
- Just use your imagination and create a complicated
animation based on a narrative and make sure to include many animation techniques
such as tweening by position and/or opacity, filters, transformations, and your own manipulated layers.

- Somewhere in the animation
there should be a photo or drawing of you
- Your name and a title should appear in the form of opening and/or closing "credits" of your "movie".
- Your animation should consist of at least
20 frames (but you are certainly not limited to that!).
- Please note that you will
be rewarded for doing exceptional, creative and
excellent work in this assignment by receiving extra credit!
Make sure that when you are done, create a new page for your website called "assign4.htm" and post the animated gif to that page. Then add a link to your assignments.html page
to your page for assignment 4.
Below are two modest (simple) examples:
First Example: (Note - We made this animation from a single still image of a monarch butterfly. The rest is done with various transformations and other techniques.)
Second Example: In honor of the upcoming election, we have "revived" an example from 2004:
