Important: you must join the mailing list for your section. Mail will only be sent to your NYU email address, not to an extra-university address like an AOL address. If you want to automatically transfer mail from your NYU Unix account to your internet provider (IP) account, create a file called .forward on your NYU account and place your IP email address there.

There are two steps to joining the list; the first is to follow the instructions on the web page (writing your NYU email address and picking a password), and the second is to REPLY TO the confirmation message sent to you by the system. Do this without changing the subject line; the message part can contain anything you want, or nothing at all. This list will be used for important announcements.
