Programming for the WWW G22.3033-009
There will be five homework assignments. Each worth 7 points each. They will be due the following week by start of class. They are to be submitted via email or the web.
Each homework will build on the previously assigned homework.
You will need to submit code and compiled, working class files. You need to zip the your directory that contains all the files and send it as your completed assignment.
Homework #0: Download and install the
Java JDK, JRE and NetBeans IDE. Create a "HelloWorld"
program in Java.
Homework #1: A Swing UI based Java App
that is a bookstore application that uses file IO.
Homework #2: Now using a
threaded application layer, sockets and RMI. Click for a
Homework #3: Create a Servlet that loads and saves a customer object to a file called customerfile.txt in the current working directory. You should be able to enter data into a web page and it gets saved to a file on the server.

customer from disk.
