New York Academy of Medicine

Company Description

New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) is an exciting organization that works to enhance the health of the public. As their web site states: "The New York Academy of Medicine is a non-profit institution founded in 1847 that is dedicated to enhancing the health of the public through research, education and advocacy, with a particular focus on urban populations, especially the disadvantaged."

Proposal: Select Grant Management and Accounting Software

NYAM applies for and manages hundreds of grants a year.  Because NYAM has grown rapidly in the last 5 years their administrative systems have become inadequate.  They want to obtain a grants management system which will support the creation of applications and an accounting system which will track moneys related to grants won.  They want a distributed system that can be accessed by 9 divisions and the administrative departments. There are highly functional packages for these purposes, but NYAM does not have the time to investigate the alternatives.

This project will

The result will be of great value to NYAM.
