1. When and Where?

	During class hour, Wed Oct 17

2. What?

	Covers everything up to Mon Oct 15.
	We will give a more detail list shortly.

3. How?

	Closed book exam.  
	But you are allowed one double-sided 8"x11" sheet of
		notes.  No constraints on how you use this sheet!

	HINTS: 
	(i) For final exam, you will be allowed 2 such sheets.
		So this sheet could be re-used for final if you like.
	(ii) I think the preparation of such a sheet is an excellent
		way to prepare yourself for the midterm.

4. How can I prepare for this?

	On Mon Oct 15, our class will be mainly a review
	for the midterm.  

	To best take advantage of this,
	you should have TRIED to do some preliminary 
	preparation, so that you have good questions to ask.


5. How about a sample midterm?

	Yes.  In our class webpage, we have a link to
	my Operating Systems course in Spring 2005.  
	
	Look under the Homework Directory to get a copy of
	the midterm from that course.

	The exact coverage of topics in that midterm will be different
	from the current, but you will still get some ROUGH idea of how
	my midterm might look.
