# Fundamental Algorithms, Spring 2003 ANNOUNCEMENTS

This is a cumulative page of all announcements listed in reverse chronological order.

• Tue May 6: Homework 5 Comments
```	-- In case you missed my emails, in question 3,
P_m(i) should refer to the probability that the counter C
has value i after m increments.  Alternatively, it is
the probability that Look(C) returns 2*i after m increments.
-- I gave some broad hints for Question 5 on NP completeness
in an email to the class.  Please understand the proof of Lemma 4 in
Lecture XXX.
```
• Tue May 6: Reminder about Wed Recitation
We voted in class (last Monday) to replace the Friday extra office hour of Iuliana by an extra recitation this Wednesday (May 7). Note that normally, we would not have a recitation, as classes were over after May 5.
