Status Report: jini (13-2-2001)

Last Week

Summary: Ian got his storage services (core storage, email reader, and email writer) running as Jini services. He also wrote a GUI to query the storage to see what was actually happening. He also started work on the POP3 server. Finally, he worked with Sherif to test his storage (and it worked pretty well). Sherif got his Pop3 client running as a Jini service. He also worked on the setup of the one.box software., and how a user would register, add, remove or update the Pop3 accounts being polled by the client. Lastly he tested his Pop3 client against Ian's storage and it worked and now is in the process of testing it with the router
