I firmly believe, "Nothing worth while is ever achieved without deep thought and hard work. One must for ever strive for excellence, or even perfection in any task however small, and never be statisfied with the second best." In my bachelors program, I primarily concentrated on making strong base in mathematics and computers and since then I am anxious to combine these skills with my interest in the field of finance.
I have 3 years of IT Professional experience working with HSBC Global Technology Center (GLT). I completed my Bachelor of Engineering from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai in 2007. I am a big Soccer fan and love to play Cricket. I know basics of Guitar and interested in learning play it proficiently. I also like to stay up to date with current events. My Sony Cybershot is my true companion and waiting for moment to have DSLR in my gadget.
What am I doing?
I am a Graduate student at New York University, New York, NY pursing my Masters in Information Systems. I have completed 1 year of study and would graduate in May 2012. My interest areas are Database Systems, Analytics, Data Mining & Business Intelligence and Finance domain. After my graduation, I intend to work on industry applications that will give me opportunity to learn and grow with interesting challenges.
