Just like it sounds, these problems ask you to put your knowledge of geometry to use to solve some problem. Generally, these problems are not at all computationally expensive; they're really math problems in disguise. Your program often should simply have a function that uses terms of addition, multiplication, and trigonometry to calculate some result, and you print that data out. These can be some of the hardest problems if you don't go in knowing what you're doing, so every team should have at least one person competent in geometry.
