Dear Martin,

It just clicked.  You took my posting to attribute to you the
whole paragraph you quote!  Of course, I was quoting only the first
sentence, which you may remember writing to me.  The next two
sentences are of course my own, I never thought anyone would
take them as yours.  But I must accept responsibility for the
ambiguity.
